The FM100 is a low power atomic clock phase-locked module designed based on a low power, high precision atomic clock. It employs phase-locked loop (PLL) technology to servo a low power crystal oscillator, thereby outputting signals at various frequency points, including 10MHz, 32.768MHz, and 100MHz, among others.
In some applications where there are high requirements for phase noise and short-term stability, the signals output by the on-board atomic clock may not suffice. By using PLL technology, the FM100 can servo an OCXO (Oven-Controlled Crystal Oscillator) or TCXO (Temperature Compensated Crystal Oscillator), thus improving the phase noise and short-term stability of the atomic clock's output signal, significantly expanding the application range of low power atomic clocks.
The FM100 was designed with miniaturization and low power consumption in mind, with an overall power consumption as low as 400mW (for the TCXO servo version) and dimensions of approximately 58×48mm, making it highly suitable for scenarios that require low power, small size, and high precision frequency output.
The main function:
- Low power design
- Supports 1PPS signal input/output
- High precision atomic clock as the local oscillator
- Initial frequency accuracy: 5E-11
- Monthly aging: 3E-10
- Standard configuration with 10MHz, 1PPS output
- Optional atomic clock servo OCXO
- Customizable output signal frequency points
- 58×48mm packaging size
- Capable of operating in a slaved mode or independently
